Engagement Recap: David Lewis Leadership

After collaborating with a client to document and streamline their Process Component™, we find it critical to celebrate their success. Especially after completing an important task for any company running on EOS®.

Over the past 90 days, BuildTheProcess has had the unique opportunity of working with Certified EOS Implementer® David Lewis, and the rest of the David Lewis Leadership team, to document and streamline their Process Component™ in 90 days!

Where the Team Started

As a Certified EOS Implementer®, David is no stranger to the importance of the Process Component™, as well as the benefits associated with having well documented, and streamlined core processes.

David and the team knew that documenting their core processes would allow them to continue to do what they love, serving companies running on EOS®, while ensuring that their internal operations continue running as smoothly as possible through continued growth.

In addition, the team had recently transitioned to a new work management platform. They knew that accounting for this software throughout their process documentation was going to be critical for current and future staff member training.

Vision for a Strong Process Component™

When we start working with a new client, we ask them to share their vision for a strong Process Component™. This is what the team envisioned:

  • Being able to visualize how the information/data within our core processes flows and connects.

  • Having all of our core processes documented in one easy to navigate platform that makes it easy to communicate process updates, and ensure that our processes remain Followed by All.

  • Standardizing our customer service throughout our entire service delivery process.

  • Ensuring that our processes are simplified.

Accomplishing their Vision

Over the course of our 90 days collaborating with David Lewis Leadership, we worked with the team to turn their visions for a strong Process Component™ into a reality. Here's how we did it:

Being able to visualize how the information/data within our core processes flows and connects.

  • When working to document each individual core process, we create a process diagram that visually represents the process.

  • Through these process diagrams, the team is now able to visually understand the flow of tasks, information, and materials throughout each process.

  • The team is also able to see how each process relates to one another. Where one process ends, where the next process begins, what key information/materials carry over etc.

Having all of our core processes documented in one easy to navigate platform that makes it easy to communicate process updates, and ensure that our processes remain Followed by All.

  • We worked with the team to package each of their documented core processes within their Trainual organization.

  • When it comes to having easy to access information, it doesn’t get any better than having your core processes documented within Trainual. The team is now able to ensure that their core processes remain Followed by All.

  • Each process is assigned to the applicable team members for review, and processes are neatly organized by department.

  • With Trainual, it is incredibly easy for the team to update their processes and ensure that the proper team members are notified any time a process has been updated.

Standardizing our customer service throughout our entire service delivery process.

  • When documenting each of their core processes, David Lewis Leadership approached each process through the lens of customer service.

  • This allowed the team to incorporate expectations for response times, communication methods etc. directly into their process documentation.

Ensuring that our documented processes are simplified.

  • As we collaborated on working sessions to document each core process, we worked with David and the team to ensure that each of their processes were as simplified as possible.

Final Thoughts

Being a Certified EOS Implementer®, David and the rest of the team remained incredibly motivated and dedicated to documenting and streamlining their Process Component™ within the 90 days.

The team knew that although completing the Process Component™ may be challenging, it would allow them to continue to do the things that matter most to them: helping company’s running on EOS® achieve their vision while providing the highest level of customer service.

As a Certified EOS Implementer®, David’s feedback and insight into our services at BuildTheProcess mean everything to us. Here is what David had to say about his experience working with us here at BuildTheProcess to document and streamline his Process Component™:
